We had the most incredible stay at Sophie’s! Every detail was thought of - from a beautifully stocked pantry to luxe bed linen and exquisite furnishings that made it feel like a boutique retreat. Having stayed in many high-end hotels and premium accommodations, I can confidently say this one is right up there. It strikes that rare balance between luxury and homely warmth. Merilli1885 is really really lovely.
Merilli1885 is really really lovely. We spent two nights there but it wasn't enough. Beautiful serene location in Currency Creek. The fit out is brilliant, absolutely everything thought of. All is fabulously styled, Sophie's attention to detail and care is evident. We loved the fact that the fire had been maintained after guests that left the morning we arrived, so welcoming. Stunning property! Perfect place to wind down and relax, watch the animals and stargaze or sit in front in the gorgeous fire inside. The highest of quality has been put into all fittings and fixtures, from bed linen to pantry goods. No expense spared. Sophie has thought of everything when she designed this place and the little extras made our stay just perfect. Very generous and accommodating host, thank you and can’t wait to come back! Absolutely beautiful!! We did not want to leave & cannot wait to come back again! We have stayed at many different airBNB’s, but this by far, has been the best place we have ever stayed in! The attention to detail, the location & all the little extras made our stay just wonderful, private & so relaxing! Certainly deserves a five star rating!

Absolutely stunning property with a beautifully curated fit-out. Perfect for a couples getaway or a girls weekend. The fireplace was a standout feature, especially on chilly nights. Salus toiletries and the provided breakfast were lovely extras. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend. Rating: 5 Stars.
It was luxurious to say the least!
My partner and I stayed a few nights at Merilli for our anniversary. It was luxurious to say the least! We spent one night in and used the full kitchen facilities and went out to Goolwa for the other. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed a wine and cheese board on the veranda and watched the birds and kangaroos. Pure bliss! Thank you Sophie for all the thoughtful touches. Merilli is truly something special!
